Privacy Policy for AgentShift

AgentShift does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, browsing history, or usage data.
The extension operates entirely within your browser and only modifies the User-Agent string for web requests based on your local settings.
All configuration data (such as your custom User-Agent list) is stored locally in your browser’s storage and is never sent to any external server.
We do not share user data with any third parties under any circumstances.
The extension temporarily accesses the URL of the active browser tab only when the popup is opened, solely to identify its domain for per-site User-Agent settings. This data is not stored or transmitted.
The extension fetches a default list of User-Agents from https://cvxer.ovh/user-agents.json during installation, browser startup, and hourly updates to keep the list current. This request does not include any user data and is used solely to populate the default User-Agent list.
You can manage or delete your settings at any time using the "Clear All Data" option in the extension’s settings.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
All functionality is provided by code included in the extension package, except for the retrieval of the default User-Agent list from the specified URL.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the updated policy available at https://cvxer.ovh/agentshift.txt.
